Browser & Device Data
Whenever you visit a page on our site your browser will automatically provide our server with data that is technical in nature, but necessary to complete the request.
What browser data is collected?
Below is a list of the data we may collect when your browser requests data from our site:
ip_address
- this tells us which network issued the requestreferrer_url
- this tells us the website address where the request originatedrequest_url
- this tells us which resource on our site was requested.user_agent
- this tells us the browser and type of device used to issue the request
How do we use browser data?
The above data is required for webservers to successfully return the requested content, but we may also use this data to help us:
- Identify and prevent malicious requests
- Identify which resources take the longest to load
- Gather statistics on which resources are requested the most frequently
How long is browser data stored?
Browser data is stored in a temporary log file on our servers for no longer than 5 minutes
before the data is evaluated and the log file is deleted. Data used for statistical evaluation may be parsed and stored in a database for a period not exceeding 45 days

Anonymous Data
We may use rich features to add functionality and improve user experience. Examples of rich features include:
- Having a poll that allows visitors to vote without signing in
- Saving temporary preferences during your visit
All data collected while engaging with rich features is anonymized to protect your privacy. This means we cannot identify which data belongs to you individually.
