Pomeagle Breed Details
The Pomeranian and Beagle mix, as a crossbreed, is not an official member of any breed group. Neither does any info exist about these hybrids' specific origin; while a Beagle mixed with Pomeranian may have existed naturally for a long time, no breeder or breed club has claimed its creation. The Beagle and Pomeranian mix likely gained popularity during the designer dog "explosion" in North America in the late 20th century. Whatever the case, these affectionate, lively little hybrids make terrific companion pets for families of any size, and they're especially good for seniors or for those living in apartments.
A few Pomeagle dog facts: they're small-sized, averaging 12 inches at the shoulders in height and 18 pounds in weight; their coats can vary a bit but are usually medium-length, thick, and moderately shedding; and they're quite sensitive, and will quickly suffer separation anxiety if left alone.
