Schipese Breed Description

He is typically good with children, although may let small children know he has had enough even though they still want to play and interact. This breed is a companion, although the Schipese is not recommended for families with small children or first time dog owners. Though they are highly energetic, they are not aggressive or violent by nature. This hybrid dog is typically sweet in personality, affectionate and friendly.

They are also good with other dogs and family pets but may chase smaller animals so best to keep your dog on a leash when outdoors and take them for socialization classes when they are puppies. Small in size with an athletic build. They are not aggressive but can be strong willed at times. This can make it territorial and weary of peculiar adults at first. Just keep in mind that these dogs may be prone to destructive behaviors if not properly exercised or if left alone too long. Like any dog breed, the Schipese should be socialized at a young age to help keep the breed well-rounded as an adult.
